TEAM DEVELOPMENT

TEAM DEVELOPMENT

During team development a constructive hands-on report is generated with a focus on team style, ressources and areas of development in the team. The report is generated based on individual personality reports for members of the team, including the team leader.  When ressources in the team as well as areas of development is spotted in the team, cooperation within the team is affected in a positive manner enabling the team to create better results through their empowered cooperation and joy of work.

Outcome

During team development we get to know each others strengths, understanding our differences and our similarities, and we learn how we, with our differences, can compliment each other in the team. A well-functioning team is more likely to reach their goals, as mutual understanding, respect and a common set of values are important prerequisites for setting and reaching a shared goal.

When

A group of people is not defined as a team before they know how to cooperate  towards a common goal. Team development can help prevent challenges re. cooperation, hence maintaining a positive momentum in the team and can therefore be benefical to introduce even before potential challenges appear. Prior to the team development proces, the team can actively participate in defining desired goals of development.

A dynamic tool

When new team members join the team, they can be asked to do the personality analysis, after which a new common team analysis report is generated. Through a follow-up session new team members can become well integrated, hence making them a part of the existing team spirit and the team behaivour. - A common team behaivour which may  in fact have changed as new personalities in the team affect existing team behaivour.

Examples of content during team development

  • What is the team style, the typical behaivour of the team and which ressources should we emphasize more strongly in order to improve our team performance?

  • Better understanding of each others roles and strengths in the team. How and when does each individual contribute most effectively with his or her specific competences meanwhile complimenting other team members?

  • Learning from each others strengths - how can the individual learn from other team members in order to contribute to a more balanced team, hence contributing even more effectively to team performance?
