About the role

As a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer at Init Group, you’ll be at the forefront of pharmaceutical manufacturing automation. You’ll be working with systems that control everything from fermentation to purification, filtration, and tank control—basically, the kind of stuff that makes medications. You’ll work in a team of specialists but also have the autonomy to manage individual projects.

The life science department at Init is highly specialized within DCS systems so you will strengthen your skills on an on-going basis. Should you find interest in working with other technologies, the sister departments in Init Group possess strong PLC and SCADA competences and work in different industries. Hence, employees at Init can work with various systems in various industries throughout their employment meanwhile learning and growing.

 


Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept):

 

  • Design, develop, and optimize DeltaV automation systems that control pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Ensure all automation systems adhere to cGMP, GAMP and S88, maintaining a secure and compliant operational environment
  • Taking lead on relevant documentation and undertaking FAT and SAT tests
  • Taking the lead on projects at an ongoing basis
  • Contribute to technical strategy and design in the projects

 

 

You recognize yourself in the following descriptions:

 

  • You hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • You have significant Emerson Process Management DeltaV Platform experience as well as knowledge and experience in Batch Processing
  • You have in-depth understanding of cGMP and GAMP
  • You possess strong analytical, organizational and planning skills
  • Mentoring and general knowledge sharing is natural to you
  • Working independently comes natural to you; however, you also hold a thorough understanding of the value that teamwork brings
  • You are a good listener, like to get involved, and ensure that others follow to reach the goals
  • You thrive in a financially healthy and professionally run company where employees describe company culture as informal with a focus on collaboration and learning
  • You have a can-do attitude, strong communication skills, like to think out of the box and prefer an open dialogue with management and peers alike
